A table full of stuff

It is impossible to say how hard it is to get this mess under control. I want to be able to do my paper crafts, cards and scrapbooing without having to constantly look for things and a place to use my tools. So I have been slowlllllllly, working out a system that may work for me. I need to be able to take the most used and needed items with my when I go on a crop also. Perhaps that is why it is taking me so long. I would love to have some encouragement, but alas none is forthcoming. So I'm just slogging along as best I can.

Hi there, just a flying visit this morning, trying to get round to as many desks as I can before work starts! Thanks for sharing your creative space.
I hope the rest of your week goes well for you. Sorting out and rearranging is part of my creative process. When I am up to my neck in chaos I have a good sort out and always find some inspiration while i'm doing it!

I do hope you find a system that works for you, I am still trying to find one, I bought boxes labelled them and still can't find things, so today I saw on one of the desks can't remember which one (sorry) but she had boxes for each company she used ie-tilda stamps-penny black stamps etc so I am going to try that one as I can never find the stamp I am looking for and I waste so much time looking for things, hope this helps, Hugs May x x x x

Keep trying different ways of working, you WILL find one that works for you. When you do it will be sooooo worth it.

Well who isn't encouraging you?!! If you're waiting for your non crafting, totally 'don't get it' family to do that, forget it, they think that putting up with having your stuff around andseeingyou crafting is all the encouragement you need...honest! it we're here!! As long as the system works for you, its a good one. For a while, I worked and then packed everything I used from the desk Into a tote, and then unpacked as I needed stuff...it made it easier to rule in and out what I felt was my basic 'take with me' kit.

I hate putting things away that I might need again soon ...I, like you, love to spread but with 3 adults and 2 children ... and 19 cats in the house, I have to keep my crafting to my craft area in my bedroom and so things pile upwards and bits get buried ...such is life.
