WOYWW, before and after

This is the before picture, mainly I was sorting out many of my embellies and trying to separate items for card making and scrapbooking into a workable fashion. As I do have to take some of them with me when I crop on Thursdays, it is important that I get this done. I'm now going to lie, it was a daunting task. The problem was we were having a couple over for dinner and cards so I needed to clear the dining room table.

After:

I'm quite pleased with the result. I managed to make a card too, in all the mess. sorry no picture but I did post it on my blog below.  If you world like to look at some very interesting work stations around the world, stop byJulia.s blog, hope to be here next week. Thanks for looking.

I like the before picture better. The after picture looks so daunting--like you might have to cook or something... ;-) I've had a go at organizing embellishments a time or six in my life and it is quite the task. Great that you got it all done in time for the company.

Lizzy don't you find that dining room tables are the best work spots? And yes, there is a benefit to working on them, I find, because it forces a clean up! This is a good thing for myself in any event. A forced clean up! *smiles* Norma

The before and after are great. Whayt a difference. Where did it all go?
I look tidy on the surface but need to go thru my stash and resort and destash.
I have friends whose children scrap and make cards so always have places for stash to go.

It's very clean and impressive, but I liked the messy desk better I have to admit. I like a place where work is being done, more than one that shines prettily. Anyway, I doubt this look will last for long. My clean desk usually lasts about an hour and then it's back to work! ;-)

My sewing room looked like that a couple of days ago. :) I've cleaned and sorted and it's much better but there's still two closets to go! blessings, marlene
